SpaceWire network performance evaluation during the streaming STP data transmition

    Get PDF
Streaming data transmission is one of the most important questions for the spacecraft developers. The research of such kind of SpaceWire network with streaming STP data transfer could give an important information for the Network Administrator, which would make the process of the network configuration much easier. The number of successfully transmitted STP data packets and the number of slave nodes with various characteristics of the network are the interesting parameters for the research. This paper gives an overview of estimation of STP transport protocol simulation over the SpaceWire SystemC model activity and shares the given results

The paper gives an overview and analysis of SpaceWire oriented transport protocols. Also this paper considers the “Academician M.F. Reshetnev” Information Satellite Systems” general requirements for the Transport protocol to operate over the SpaceWire network technology. Finally, we propose preliminary solutions for some Transport protocol mechanisms

Social Image of the Ural Region Mining Workers at the Post-Reform Time Period

The article dwells upon a transition character of the Ural proletariat at the post-reform time period. Both domestic and foreign historiography define the social image of the Russian worker of the 20th century second part as either proletarian or referring to a “half-worker and half-peasant” type, combining traditional pre-capitalist features with newer ones, characteristic of industrial manufacture. A manufacturer’s being connected to the land as well as forming a certain mentality combined with the professional skills are considered the main criteria while defining the Russian workers’ typology. Taking into consideration the Urals old tradition of industrial manufacture, the process of forming an independent class at the area progressed rather vigorously. Despite of land allotments availability, workers in the Urals got under influence of modernization. Treating scornfully peasant work, industrial workers purposefully separated themselves from peasants. Nevertheless, it will be wrong to speak about complete disappearance of traditional peasant psychology among the Ural proletariat of the said time period. The working class at the region used to belong to a transition type, therefore we can speak about its incomplete establishment as a bourgeois society class

    Scheduling mechanisms for spacewire networks

    Get PDF
The paper describes two mechanisms which solve the problem of time multiplexing for SpaceWire networks. They are a transport-level scheduling mechanism, which is used in the STP-ISS protocol, and SpaceWire-DSUAI, that is a protocol prototype. The current paper presents an overview of these mechanisms and compares them. In addition, we provide a short analysis of time-division multiplexing in the communication protocols

Simulation Of ExoMars2020's Rover Network Using SystemC

    Get PDF
In this paper, we describe the process of implemen- tation, goals and results of our research in the modelisation of ExoMars2020's network using SystemC. We will mainly see that the use of database to store the result of a simulation's running can be ef?cient in a network involving packets with huge amount of data, and if such kind of network can be made in parallel, then we can increase the performance of its time execution

Second revision of the STP-ISS transport protocol for on-board spacewire networks

    Get PDF
The paper provides an overview of the second revision of the Transport protocol STP-ISS, which is developed for SpaceWire on-board networks. Current R&D activity is performed by the specialists of SUAI and JSC “ISS”. The paper shortly compares two revisions of the specification and describes the main mechanisms and quality of service types of the second revision of the protocol. STP-ISS is planned to be used for the next generation spacecrafts

Adaptive Data Streaming Service for Onboard Spacecraft Networks

    No full text
Modern spacecrafts consist of many systems and sensors producing streaming traffic. The paper is concerned with the problem of the congestion network in spacecrafts. It occurs because of the equipment malfunction (routers, receive/transmit nodes, links). To solve this problem the analysis of streaming traffic, Quality of Service, features of streaming applications and the overview of streaming protocols were done. As a result the basic concepts of service for adaptive QoS control - Adaptive Data Streaming Service - were proposed

Selection of an Effective Trajectory of Regional Socio-Economic Development

Currently, the socio-economic crisis and tension in external economic environment significantly complicate the task of strategic planning of regional socio-economic development. However, this task is crucially relevant. Its solution requires a multiaspect assessment of regional socio-economic situation. This assessment should take into account the impact of numerous factors, possible “traps”. We propose to use a composite indicator “Index of the welfare of an individual and inhabited area” to assess the socio-economic situation in a region. Using the method of correlation analysis, we selected 6 key indicators: natural population growth rate, mortgage arrears, total unemployment, percentage of the population with incomes below the subsistence level, ratio of budget spending on education to the gross regional product (GRP), ratio of budget spending on healthcare to the gross regional product (GRP). The value domain of each indicator is divided on 7 crisis zones. This allows assessing the socio-economic system situation. We have substantiated the behaviour of regional socio-economic system on the example of the Ural Federal District in the period from 2000 to 2017. Furthermore, we have made projections for the period from 2018 to 2021. The dynamics of four indicators from six demonstrates reveals a post-crisis recovery. However, the direct impact on two budgetary indicators can increase the general welfare in a region. Comparing the dynamics of the index of the welfare of an individual and inhabited area with GRP shows that we can use the index of the welfare of an individual and inhabited area to forecast the dynamics GRP. The research results can be applied for developing measures to enhance the socio-economic development of regions

Fault-tolerance analysis algorithm for SpaceWire onboard networks

    No full text
The paper presents algorithms for fault tolerance evaluation which will be applied in a new computer-aided design system for SpaceWire onboard networks. We give general notions on fault tolerance for onboard networks, and introduce our algorithm for evaluation of fault tolerance in SpaceWire networks. Finally we address our future work direction on network topology transformation for fault tolerance
